Candidates must pay the specified fee according to their community/category as outlined below.

(a) Candidates should apply only through ONLINE mode through any of the official websites of the RRBs.

How to Apply for RRB Technician 2024
(a) Candidates are required to carefully read all the information and instructions before proceeding to fill out the online application to avoid any errors.
(b) Prior to applying, candidates must first “Create an account” for this CEN on the official RRB website.
(c) Each candidate is permitted to apply to only one RRB for a specific pay level. Furthermore, each candidate should submit only one common online application for any or all of the notified posts, prioritizing them in the order of preference within that pay level, for which they are eligible and interested.
(d) Applications must be submitted exclusively through any of the official RRB websites listed in Paragraph 14 (f) of the official notification (provided below). It is mandatory to submit a separate application for each Pay Level, as a separate Computer-Based Test (CBT) will be conducted for each Pay Level.
ONLINE Mandatory Scanned Documents to be kept ready before filling the application
(i) A recent, clear passport size photograph of the candidate in JPEG format (size 30 to 70KB), taken against a plain white background, without wearing dark glasses and/or cap. Candidates are required to have at least 12 copies of the same photograph for future use during the recruitment process.
(ii) A scanned JPEG image of the candidate’s signature in running handwriting (size 30 to 70KB).
(iii) For candidates requesting a free pass for train travel, SC/ST Certificate in PDF format (up to 500KB) is required.
(iv) PwBD candidates should also upload a passport size photograph as per the above specifications only, and not the full-body photograph used in the disability certificate.
